Badbox 2011

The little sister of the Badkast is called the Badbox and was built in 2011. With the Badbox Anna van der Lei combines bathing with daily activities that people engage in together.

The Badbox is a bath in a box on which you can come and sit to play and drink together. After bathing you can use the space in the box, close the Badbox and use the top. Like the Badkast the Badbox is made out of one tree trunk to ensure that the color of the Baxbox stays cohesive. For the Badbox no epoxy or lacquer are used to seal the Badbox, special wood joints have been designed to that make the Badbox waterproof.
