Badkast was part of a selling exhibition at Sotheby's London

Another development in the increased role auction houses are beginning to play in promoting the next wave of design talent Sotheby's is now taking
an interest in selling work produced by newly emerging designers. To do so, they have teamed up with the Design Academy Eindhoven to sell work
produces by several of last year's top graduates.

The work from Eindhoven will be presented at Sotheby's London between May 14 and 18, 2010 after a stop at the Milan Furniture Fair.

Questions are the start of everything.

A show, curetted by Anne Mieke Eggenkamp, Char Executive Board Design Academy Eindhoven and Ilse Crawford of studioilse and Head
of Man and Well Being, about some of the questions Design Academy is asking now.

This year the exhibition will not be held in Zona Tortona, the very centre of the Salone. The academy chose to change the Tortona for the
more northerly Lambrate; a a rougher part of the area, inviting to experiment. DAE in this way once again gives a clear signal of its intention
to come with something innovating. The exhibition will held in the Umdai Building

exhibition shows how the design and processing’s of this most basic of materials has developed through the ages.

Dutch design week 2009

The Dutch design week in Eindhoven, 17 t/m 25 october, was a great success. More then 25.000 people

came and visited from all over the world. Badkast and Lowlight were part of the Design Academy graduation show

at "Witte Dame" in Eindhoven.
